Description/Purpose:

Unregistered Vehicles

Details:

  • All vehicles operated or parking on the campus of Saint Francis University must be registered. Those who fail to register their vehicle with University Police will be ticketed for inappropriate parking or traffic violations. All vehicle identification information will be maintained in a database for later use.
  • When the unregistered vehicle reaches 3 unregistered parking citations and the identity of the owner/operator is determined, all fines and sanctions charged from prior parking citations will be directed to the student, faculty, or staff members account.
  • If the University Police Department cannot identify the owner of the vehicle, the vehicle may be booted or towed in order to find the owner/operator of the vehicle. If a vehicle is booted or removed from the University due to being unregistered it will be at the owner/operators expense. Saint Francis University and the University Police Department are not responsible for any damages to the vehicle or any of the vehicles contents if the vehicle is removed from University property.
